The 40-foot high container is used for transporting light but bulky cargo. It is 30 cm. higher than the standard container, which increases the volume by 8.8 m3 without any effect on the weight of the load.

The size of the 45-foot sea containers provided them with demand due to their large capacity. They carry heavy, groupage, oversized cargo including special equipment, vehicles, etc. The dimensions are standardized, so the 45-foot container is suited for international transport.

INSURANCE
In most cases, the trader decides whether to insure the goods. Should the seller and/or the buyer take out insurance, to what extent the cargo will be insured and under what conditions is a matter of negotiation.
Insurance is a written contract between the issuer of the insurance policy and the insured, where the insurer undertakes to indemnify the insured party against certain risks and damage to the goods, as well as to cover the additional costs incurred for the physical preservation of the goods and/or the ship. The object of the insurance can be the value of the goods and/or the value of the transport. Very often, the insured does not pay enough attention to his obligations under the insurance contract, that is, the fulfillment of the clauses that make him a "proper party to the contract" entitled to claims for compensation. Such clauses are, for example (but not limited to): the type of packaging, corresponding to the type of transport chosen, which in turn meets the requirements of the relevant goods.
Insurance is a very necessary additional cost in international trade and transport - for example, if during sea transport the ship owner or captain of the ship declares a "General Casualty", according to Maritime Law, YOU will be liable for a percentage of the casualty costs that the shipping line declares . You insure yourself not only against the risk of damage or loss of your goods, but also against the risk of extraordinary costs declared by the shipowner for third party damage, repair or even loss of ship. CHINA - BULGARIA CONTAINER RAIL TRANSPORT
Along with the growing interest of economic exchange with China, the demand for the transport of goods from China to Bulgaria and vice versa, Delta Transport offers you an optimized solution for container transport from and to distant Asia.
Container delivery time is limited to 10-14 days (transit time from the railway terminal from China to the Bulgarian border) or to 20-24 days (for a full door-to-door supply chain) by express freight trains departing from China via Kazakhstan, Russia and Belarus. Depending on your chosen terminal in China, transit times may vary slightly.
